JustBibles started in 1998 as a way for my wife, Tameria, and myself to provide bibles to people who had the need for a bible. In the beginning, we were sending many bibles to people throughout the United States, but we soon found ourselves sending bibles to many wonderful places throughout the world. God has used this opportunity to reach people in places far removed from our home state of Idaho. The first bible we sent overseas went to a pastor in Slovakia. This was an exciting moment, because at that time we realized that this ministry had a reach well beyond anything that we ever imagined. JustBibles suddenly became a world reaching ministry. Since that time, JustBibles has reached people in places such as Argentina, Australia, Belarus, Canada, Czech Republic, China, Croatia, England, Ghana, India, Iran, Ireland, Nigeria, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Seychelles, Slovakia, South Africa Western Cape, South Korea, Taiwan, United States, West Indies – Barbados, and West Indies – Trinidad. In 2001 JustBibles and Calvary Chapel Nampa, Idaho joined together to provide these much needed bibles.
We need your prayers to become and to remain focused on this ministries ability to continue reaching people around the globe. Please pray that God will strengthen our resolve and desire to reach these people no matter what it takes.
The amazing thing about many of the people that we have sent bibles to is that they are in countries were persecution takes place on a daily basis. Please pray for these people that God will continue to allow His Holy Spirit to strengthen the faith of these, our brothers and sisters in Christ, allowing them to stand boldly in the face of persecution. Many of the persecuted are beaten and tortured, many still yet are killed for their faith in Jesus Christ. Don't forget them, but rather, "Remember the prisoners as if chained with them - those who are mistreated - since you yourselves are in the body also (Hebrews 13:3)". For more information on the persecuted church see The Voice of the Martyrs.
As a christian organization, JustBibles believes that Jesus Christ is the living God based on many scriptural references. John records this in his gospel, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it... And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth (John 1: 1-5, 14)". Jesus also made seven "I Am" statements in the gospel of John that were definitive statements of His deity. They are as follows:
We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world (John 3:16), but especially for those who believe (1 Timothy 4:10). In order for a person to receive God's forgiveness, that person must have true and genuine repentance. "For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted, but the sorrow of this world produces death (2 Corinthians 7:10)". So what is it that you must repent from? Sin. What is sin? Sin is anything that is contrary or against God's nature. Sin is lying, stealing, hatred of people, uncontrolled anger, using God's name in an unworthy manner, fornication, homosexuality, adultery, and any other thing that is ungodly.
The good news is, "He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son (Revelation 21:7). What must we do to be saved? Repent and "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved (Acts 16:31)", and "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9)".
A person must also show the signs of true repentance in their life, "Therefore if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17)". A person who is genuinely saved by God's grace through faith, and not by there own works (Ephesians 2:8) will have a heartfelt desire to do good works and that person will perform those good works (Titus 2:11-14).
The bad news is, "But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death (Revelation 21:8)". What about you? Have you seen that you are a sinner before a Holy and Just God that must and will punish all sin? Have you repented and cried out to God asking Jesus Christ to be the forgiveness for your sins that He died to be? "For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved (John 3:17)". Jesus Christ did not come to bring condemnation to you, He came to bring God's great love and mercy to those who will repent and trust Jesus as Savior. If you have not been born again, "unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of heaven (John 3:3)", you need to become a peacemaker and make your peace with God today. There may or may not be a tomorrow for you, none of us truly knows what tomorrow holds. God will take you in as His child regardless of any sins you have ever committed. There is no sin so great that God doesn't already know about it and weep over it for you. Ask God for forgiveness and call upon Jesus for your salvation this moment. We are praying for you, and more importantly, Jesus has already prayed for you to be received by God when you call to Him.
In Christ's love and Service,
Bob Knight
